Mr. Schuessler is a member of the State Bar of Wisconsin and is a member and past president of the Dodge County Bar Association. He is a popular speaker for estate planning seminars presented by local banks and financial professionals. Mr. Schuessler is also a speaker for workers compensation seminars, for attorneys and insurance professionals.

Outside of the office, Mr. Schuessler is active in community work in the Mayville area. Mr. Schuessler has served as an officer and board member of Main Street Mayville, Inc., the Mayville Rotary Club and the Lomira Area Education Foundation, Inc. He has coached youth soccer and basketball, has taught classes at St. Mary's Congregation in Mayville, and is chairman of the church's summer festival committee. He has served for a number of years as a member of the Mayville City Council. Mr. Schuessler has been a Mayville Chamber of Commerce Board Member for several years, and served twice as Chamber President. He has been a member of the Chamber's Audubon Days Fall Festival committee, and was chairman for two years. He is an officer and board member of the TAG Center, Inc. which developed and supports the TAG Aquatic and Fitness Center in Mayville. He is a coach of the Mayville High School mock trial team.

Mr. Schuessler resides with his wife, Katy, in Mayville. They enjoy a busy family life, keeping up with the many activities of their six children.
