Michael R. Devitt
Shareholder
Attorney Michael R. Devitt (Mike) a shareholder who works primarily out of the Beaver Dam office and is a general practice attorney, primarily practicing in the areas of personal injury and civil litigation. He also handles collections, small claims, and many of the firm's criminal and traffic defense cases and drunk driving defense work.
Mike is a Middleton, Wisconsin native who joined the firm in 2005. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Drake University School of Law in May 2005. He became a shareholder in the firm effective January 2010.
Mike received his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Wisconsin-LaCrosse in 2002, graduating with honors. Mike majored in Political Science and minored in Criminal Justice. In addition, he was a four-year letter winner in swimming, leading his team as a two-year elected captain.
Mike is active in many professional organizations. He is a member of the Wisconsin Bar Association and the Dodge County Bar Association where he is a past president. He is also a member of the Wisconsin Association for Justice and Wisconsin Young Lawyers Division. Mike is also very active in the community. He is the chair of the Beaver Dam Chamber Board Networking Committee and is an Assistant Swim Coach at the YMCA of Dodge County. He also serves as a Judge for the Beaver Dam Teen Court.
Mike currently lives in Beaver Dam.
