Ms. Chase is a member of the Dodge County Bar Association and a past president of the organization. She received her Juris Doctor degree, cum laude, from Creighton University School of Law in 1995. She received her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration degree, summa cum laude, from Creighton University in 1993.

Ms. Chase is involved in many community activities. Ms. Chase is a past president of the Mayville Area Chamber of Commerce and a member and past president of the Dodge County Bar Association. Ms. Chase also serves on the Board of Directors for the Beaver Dam Community Hospital and is the current Vice-Chair.  She also seves on the Board of Directors of the Beaver Dam Community Hospitals Foundation, Inc.

Ms. Chase resides in Beaver Dam with her husband, Tim, and their daughter Abby. Tim is a high school math teacher in the Beaver Dam School District and the girls varsity basketball coach. Tim and Karla enjoy a wide variety of sporting activities and spending lots of time with their daughter.
