EricAttorney Becker, a partner in the Beaver Dam office, practices principally in the areas of commercial transactions, contracts, estate and trust planning, probate, real estate, and corporate law. Mr. Becker is a Beaver Dam native, and has practiced law with the firm since September 1975. He has earned the "AV" rating by Martindale-Hubbell, indicating very high to preeminent legal ability and very high ethical standards.

Mr. Becker received his Juris Doctor degree in 1974 from Marquette University Law School. He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1971 from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. Mr. Becker majored in finance with additional courses in economics and accounting. Prior to joining the firm, he was a trust officer with a large Milwaukee bank. He became an owner of the firm in 1980. His legal assistant is Julie White who has 20-plus years experience and has been with the firm since 1989.

Membership in professional associations is important to Mr. Becker's practice. He is a member of the Wisconsin and Dodge County Bar Associations, and Wisconsin School Attorneys. He served on the District 13 Committee of the Supreme Court's Office of Lawyer Regulation for nine years and was its chair from 1999-2002. He currently serves as a Special Investigator for the Supreme Court's Office of Lawyer Regulation.

Attorney Becker is very active in the community and believes that what one receives from the community should be returned in the form of involvement. Mr. Becker is president of the Dodge Health Foundation, the charitable arm of the Beaver Dam Community Hospital. He is currently a member of the Beaver Dam Area Development Corporation board, and served as its president from 2000 to 2003.He served on the Beaver Dam School District Board of Education for many years, and was its president in 1987 and 1996. He is a founding member and served on the board of the Beaver Dam Scholarship Foundation, Inc., serving two years as its president. Mr. Becker served nine years on the YMCA Board of Directors and was its president for two of those years.

Mr. Becker is a director of the Horicon Bank.

Mr. Becker is married to Carol Becker, and they have two adult children.
